If you’re like us then you’re always looking for ways to either save money or repurpose things around your shop. So when we got the chance to make a Rolling Tool Stand out of an old Wire Spool, well that was right up our alley.

Super affordable and super easy to make. No fancy tools, and not a lot of time to finish it. The wire spool with a set of locking casters is sturdy enough to support the bulkiest of our floor and tabletop tools (drill press, band saw, table saw, etc). Plus, it looks great and is always a conversation starter when folks drop by.
