Gentle on clothes but tough on stains and odors. And we keep it all very simple with a short list of simple ingredients. We use Lavender Essential Oils for a fresh but gentle scent. Other ingredients include: Borax, Baking Soda, Fels Naptha, White Vinegar and Water.

We've found our HLD to be safe for all washers and leaves your clothes feeling fresh and clean and free of the chemicals, enzymes and perfumes that permeate all the commercially available brands in the store.

In our home, we deal with allergies and sensitive skin, as well as really dirty, smelly clothes! And we have had nothing but success with this detergent mix. This is the original formula that we've been using here on the AVF for years, and we're thrilled to make it available to you now.

For an even more powerful cleaning experience, we suggest adding an optional splash of household bleach to your load. (Wash according to instructions on garments. Always test on garments that may bleed or fade.)
